Closing a signal is simple: from the Home menu or from the Signals> Active menu select the signal you want to close.
At this point, you open the detailed form of the operational signal. After clicking on the Change Signal button, the panel for closing the signal opens.
It is possible to close the signal at the market or at the limit.
Closing at the market
A market closure allows to close a signal at the price that the market expresses at that time
Simply click on the Close Signal button to complete the signal closing procedure. In case of closure of a purchase signal, the system will take the price of Bid (money); in case of closure of a sell signal, the price of Ask (letter) will be taken. Finally, remember that in the case of closure of a market operating signal, Rataran will also apply a 0.1% slippage for stocks and commodities, and 0.05% for Forex and bonds.
The limit closure allows to close a trading signal at a price different from the one that the market expresses at that time. Basically, the limit closure is equivalent to inserting a level of Take Profit and/or Stop Loss.
You can close a signal at the limit by selecting the "Set Automatic Closing" option. Simply enter the level of Take Profit and/or Stop Loss in the appropriate space and click the Change Signal button to complete the closing procedure.
Finally, remember that the level of Take Profit and/or Stop Loss must be higher or lower than the minimum of the last 60 minutes, which are indicated in the respective boxes.
