Creating a signal is simple: look for the security you want to buy or sell in the search bar and press the Select button.

At this point, the publication mask of the trading signal opens.

You can create a signal by making two types of orders: at market or at limit.

Market order

A market order allows you to purchase/sell a financial instrument at the price that the market expresses at that time.

Enter the security you want to buy or sell in the search bar and press the Select button.

At this point, the publication mask of the trading signal opens.

You can create a market order in the Market Order panel, choosing whether to place a purchase order (bullish signal) or sell order (bearish signal)

Click on the Publish Signal button to complete the creation of the order.

In case of purchase, the price that will be assigned to your signal will be the Ask (letter). In case of sale, the price that will be assigned to your signal will be the Bid (money).

Finally, remember that in the event of the publication of an trading signal at market level, Rataran will apply a 0.1% slippage for stocks and commodities, and 0.05% for Forex and bonds. For example, if a purchase signal is published on the Intesa SanPaolo financial instrument, the price applied will be 3.1465 to which we will apply the 0.1% slippage, bringing it to 3.1495.

Limit order

A limit order allows you to buy a security at a price different from the one that the market expresses at that time.

Enter the security you want to buy or sell in the search bar and press the Select button.

You can create a limit order in the Limit Order panel

By clicking on the + or - button on the price bar, you can choose the price level at which you want to open the signal.

Rataran allows you to open a limit signal only and exclusively at a price higher than the last hour value or less than the last hour minimum.

At this point you only have to choose whether to make a purchase order (bullish signal) or sell (bearish signal).

Click on the Publish Signal button to complete the creation of the order.

The signal will be registered with the "Pending" status until the price of the chosen financial instrument will not reach the level of purchase or sale entered during the creation of the signal.
